Bulletin for a "KSDS" repair that had not been done and because of that, Kia would not replace the engine. There would have been
no way for us to know that the Service Bulletin existed or that it had not been done. We obtained the service records for the vehicle

Took 2017 Kia soul to have check engine light diagnosed because I had a code for O2 sensor. I had just gotten one replaced at another service center and it wasn’t working. BEWARE!!! I purchased a Kia Sportage two years ago with an extended warranty, It has been well maintained with records. All of a sudden it started shaking so I took it to a mechanic and it needs a new motor. He said that it probably had this problem when I bought it. I am still making payments on this vehicle. I got to observe as an outsider just how they treat their customers. Scheduled appointment disappeared off of their schedule. (I was there when he scheduled appointment). Because he was adamant about the appointment they threatened to call the law. Service girl at the desk over reacted, instead of trying to see customers point of view in this situation, after driving an hour to get it serviced.
Did not have adequate automotive service technicians working on a Saturday. Did absolutely nothing to correct the issue.

I brought a brand new 2022 Kia Sorrento on December 30, 2022 my check engine light came on December 2023 took it in for service. They fixed it March 24 check engine light came back on again took it in to get it serviced after the car was serviced. Someone left my car and drive and it drove into something messed it all up. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. They will con you and make you feel like they have your best interest at heart. This is very far from the truth in my experience. Watch them closely or they will con you also.
Matthew Sutton, our customer service advisor was amazing! He provided great detail about the issue, pictures, and resolution. Matthew informed us of any recalls pending on the car and worked with us to set up a time to complete the recalls. Matthew also provided the technician to provide any additional details. We had a great experience with Matthew and the service team. I am looking at possibly buying a new Kia Telluride based on my experience with the Keffer Kia team!
Sales reps, finance Mgr, and dealer managers are all attentive and provide excellent service. The service dept is where empathetic customer service ends.
My old post was deleted. I purchased a used GMC Denali from Keffer Kia. I got home and realized there was hail damage and remnants from highway paint, and broken running boards. During the purchase we found a suspension problem and in writing they agreed to repair the issue. After a couple of BBB complaints they agreed to finally take the truck in. I got the truck back after almost 3 weeks and nothing but the partial hail damage repair. The costliest part (the roof) was never touched. Still haven't received tags no paper work no jack no spare tire check engine light on after 2 days rude associates hang up in mid conversation would never recommend them or buy from them again still waiting check engine light on the very next day really.
Worst service department I've ever seen!!!! They have techs lock your keys in their tool box, so if the tech isn't there, you can't get your keys, they tear car apart without permission, and they don't return phone calls, very shady service department.
Worst reps and Manager. Made us wait for over 2 hours even with appointment. Rude response
I have owned Kias for 17 years. The mechanics and service department has always been top of the line and have cared about my family and the safety of our 4 kias. Until now. The service departments charges $250 for nothing more than a diagnostics test!! The average is $88 to $120. The price gauging is sickening. We went in with, what we thought was our engine finally seizing, which we are waiting to happen so that the warranty will finally be granted. We bought a car from Keffer Kia the first time in 2008 since then we have bought a total of four cars from them. It has always been a great dealership until 2021 and it started going rapidly downhill.
The staff have changed over from the friendly, helpful type to the untrustworthy snake in the grass used car salesman type. I’m sure they are not all like that but I’ve seen the change over the last 15 years.

Attempted to charge me a $7000.00 market adjustment increase on a Kia Carnival. Then sales manager makes a lame attempt to justify it. RUN from this dealer. For there is a justifiable reason they have a LOW dealers rating.
Keffer Kia is the rude, unprofessional, and has no customer service or suggestive sales skills. Davian, who is a so called manager, called and proceeds to give me attitude because I didn't want to purchase a car after i asked for a manager then the manager alex asked if I told him my circumstances. why would I when hes rude. smh just disrespectful I would not recommend them to anyone.
Liars……from the sales floor to the service department. They put you on hold endlessly. They do not return phone calls. The person who sells you extended warranties lies about coverage. They did not do the service they promised before pick up. I will never set foot on their lot again.
This place is bunch of crook service technician. I always take my car to Precision Tune in Mooresville. But one day I got recall notice for our kia sorento. Nope!! They not even bother about the recall letter. Instead they fic and replaced the engine part without my consent it cost me $2000. WishvI read the review about this place first.
Wow, just Wow! What a great experience with the purchase of a brand new vehicle in many, many years. Rachel was AMAZING!!! She made the test drive, and paperwork so easy; she even introduced me to the service department associates. Everyone was so professional. Cheap tricks to get you over to the showroom. They called me and said they have about 50 vehicles coming in, they have targets to reach. So there is a month end sale program and a code to enter the program.
It's just a made up story. I went there, 26 miles in uber. There was no such event. Salesman said they have the only car on east coast. And someone ready to fly from Florida to get it. Wasted my time to say the least. I went in about a month ago and I left because we just weren't close on ordering a Kia carnival. Fast forward one month and they called me two days in a row to get me to come and make a deal. Thinking it was going to be more reasonable I went to the dealership. They offered me 4k over the first deal. I walked out without even countering. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. Everyone else can pay 8k over MSRP but I am not that sucker.
Don't waste you time. My son bought a 2017 Forte here 6 months ago. Engine failed, had an extended warranty, company examined and covered it due to it being a Kia defect. Engine was ordered but has been lost in transit, so have to order another one that will take 3 more weeks to arrive. I have been renting a car for 6 weeks now, Keffer will not supply a loaner or a rental. I found the salespeople to be rude and only interested in jacking up the price on the car. Oversell is their motto.
My experience with this dealer was not pleasant. They sent a written offer to buy a car from me- had me drive an hour to get to their dealership- and then began the ole two step shuffle. Claimed they had never seen the written offer and tried to lie about the entire process. My impression of them was that they are a very dishonest dealership.
Very friendly and helpful people that will help you as much as possible get in a car. Justin and Glen has been very good at helping us get in to the car that we have been trying to get for a while.

Dealing with Keffer Kia has been a literal nightmare. I spent weeks trying to get ahold of someone to refinance my vehicle and now I’m in the same situation again: calling/texting with no responses whatsoever because I need a Buyer’s Order- something that should’ve been given to me already. I totally regret buying a car I love now because the people there treat you terribly and make it extremely difficult on you.
I'd actually spoken with Justin at length on a prior service visit and we talked at length about life and goals and aspirations. When I returned today for another service, he remembered me and recommended that I consider trading in my car since I was getting close to 100,000 miles. After reviewing some options, it definitely was the best way forward and saved me from having to pay a fairly large service bill! I'm extremely pleased with this transaction and will remain a lifelong customer! Thank you, Justin!

They won't let you talk to the General Manager if you think you want to finalise the deal. The new Car sales Manager is the manipulator of all players. Bought a new Kia and salesman Donnie Grant was excellent. He was very fast in getting back pricing and any questions but the most enjoyable thing which usually never happens is he didn't call or email several times a day, didn't bug the crap out of me. After we met he got price back real soon and said if had any questions call . It was great not being pressured, other car dealers could learn from that, one of the most annoying reasons not buying from a dealer besides price. Would highly recommend him any time.

We waited all day and finally after 5 hours we were given a loaner and told to come back the next morning at 10. Got there and the car was still not ready we waited another hour. Keffer Kia was fantastic -- I knew what car I was looking for, and I didn't have a lot of time. They didn't have the car I wanted on the lot, but they found one in less than 24 hours, had it through service and cleaned for me to pick up the next day. The price was fantastic -- no games, and the paperwork process was incredibly efficient. Could not possibly recommend them more.
