Can you find electric efficiency, powerful performance, and a spacious cabin in one SUV? With the 2025 Kia EV9, you can have it all, and you can even customize your ride with its five trim levels and four powertrain options.
1. Light RWD
The Light accommodates seven passengers with its three rows of seats and adjusts the temperature inside with a tri-zone auto climate control system and heated and ventilated front seats. Its permanent magnet synchronous motor produces 215 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, with an EPA-estimated 88 MPGe combined efficiency. Meanwhile, its 76.1 kWh lithium-ion battery takes you up to 230 miles between charges.
Standard Light features include 19-inch black and machined finish alloy wheels, SynTex seat trim and a hands-free Smart Power Liftgate. Its intuitive infotainment system with navigation is displayed on a 12.3-inch touchscreen and comes with family-friendly features like Passenger Talk, which uses the eight-speaker audio system to project the driver’s voice to the rear of the cabin. The Light also protects everyone inside with a comprehensive list of advanced safety features.
2. Light Long Range RWD
As its name suggests, the Light Long Range maximizes your range, so you can travel 304 miles between charges. It has a 99.8 kWh battery and a motor that produces 201 horsepower, 258 lb.-ft. of torque, and fuel economy of 89 MPGe combined. This six-passenger model also includes a sunroof and a HomeLink garage door opener.

Ready for cold weather, the Wind comes with a heat pump that preserves its range, a heated steering wheel, and all-wheel drive capability. It also features dual sunroofs so front and rear passengers can let in the light from above.
4. Land AWD
You can identify the Land by its 20-inch black and machined-finish alloy wheels, digital pattern lighting front grille, and gloss black trim. Its first-class cabin seats six and includes heated and ventilated second-row seats, multicolor ambient lighting, and a driver’s seat comfort setting that lets you stretch out and relax while your battery charges.
