
Power and Performance
The Telluride is equipped with a V6 that gets 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The base powertrain provides up to 26 highway miles per gallon. You’ll have Smart, Sport, Comfort, and Eco driving modes, with Snow mode in AWD Telluride models. Each trim also incorporates Torque Vectoring Cornering Control, and some models include self-leveling rear suspension.
Prep your SUV for off-roading with the available X-Line and X-Line Pro packages. The latter boosts the Telluride’s towing capacity from 5,000 to 5,500 pounds and comes with trailer stability assist. You’ll also have 8.4 inches of ground clearance and standard roof rails in several finishes. Choose from 18-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels with several available finishes. AWD models also come with a self-locking rear differential.
Interior Space and Features
You can configure the Telluride to seat seven or eight passengers, with either second row captain’s chairs or a bench. It has 21 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, 46 cubic feet behind the second row, and up to 87 cubic feet when you fold down both the second and third rows. A useful hands-free power liftgate is available.
The base model of the Telluride features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, synthetic leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, push-button start, and proximity keyless entry. Higher trims are enhanced with leather or Nappa leather upholstery. The Telluride is packed with standard tech including built-in navigation, a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio, five USB ports, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 4.2-inch display, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. You can add a dual-screen rear-seat infotainment system, a 12.3-inch display screen, a 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and a wireless device charging pad.
Safety and Driver Assistance
This model comes with 17 driver assistance features including rear parking sensors, a rear-seat alert, traffic sign recognition, auto high beams, driver attention monitoring, navigation-based adaptive cruise control, and more.
