The EV9 is made for your family’s comfort, with standard SynTex seat trim, heated and ventilated front seats, and a tri-zone auto climate control system. Light RWD and Wind AWD trim levels come with a second-row bench seat and seating for seven passengers, while the remaining three trims have second-row captain’s chairs and a six-passenger capacity. The second-row seats slide and fold with just one touch, so third-row passengers can enter and exit easily.
The EV9’s 29.6-inch panoramic display puts all the information you need within eyesight of the driver, including gauges, climate information, navigation, and infotainment. Behind the third-row seats, 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space makes room for daily errands. When you fold the second- and third-row seats, you’ll reveal up to 81.7 cubic feet of space. It’s easy to access that space, too, thanks to a Smart Power Liftgate that opens automatically when you stand behind it with your Smart Key.
All-Electric Powertrain Options
The EV9 is a groundbreaking electric SUV that combines powerful performance with remarkable efficiency and range. The entry-level Light RWD trim comes with a 76.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, which provides 230 miles of range and recharges from 10 to 100 percent in under 7 hours with a Level 2 charger. The other four trims have a larger 99.8 kWh battery with up to 304 miles of range and a Level 2 recharging time of under 9 hours.
When you’re on the go, you can recharge the EV9’s battery from 10 to 80 percent with a DC 350 kW fast charger in under 25 minutes. The Light RWD delivers 215 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque, plus EPA-estimated efficiency of 88 MPGe combined. The fastest model, the GT-Line AWD, has a thrilling 0 to 60 mph speed of 5.0 seconds with 379 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque.
Safety and Driver Assistance
An IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK, the EV9 comes with impressive technology features that can help you keep your family safe on the road. Included in these features is Blind-Spot Collision Warning, which monitors adjacent lanes and warns you when another vehicle enters your blind spot. If you attempt to change lanes while another vehicle is present, this system issues an audible warning, then Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist provides corrective steering if needed.
