The Seltos has a sophisticated Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system that can quickly identify potential car crashes and intervene with emergency braking support to prevent an accident. Drivers can augment the performance of the powertrain and transmission with Drive Mode Select. The trio of selectable drive modes for the Seltos is Normal, Eco, and Sport. The Eco drive mode is ideal for maximizing the eco-friendly performance of the SUV in urban and highway traffic, so fuel is used as efficiently as possible. The Sport mode, on the other hand, makes the motor accelerate more aggressively.
4. Driver Attention Warning
The Seltos uses driver-facing cameras and sensors to monitor the driver’s attention while on the road. When this system detects distracted driving behaviors, drowsy driving, or other inattentive driving habits that cause the driver’s attention rating to fall to 0, the system will recommend a driving break. This system also serves to prompt the driver when the vehicle ahead moves from a stopped position, such as at a stop light.
5. Rear Occupant Alert
This standard driver-assistance feature is a great tool for parents and pet owners. The Rear Occupant Alert feature checks for passengers in the rear seat and will emit a warning when the rear seats are still occupied after the driver exits the vehicle.
